The Tiaki Institute is a small think tank with big ideas. We tackle global challenges using data. 

Our vision is prosperity and good health for all people and our planet. To achieve this, we creating metrics that give clarity on global challenges and what governments, businesses and communities can do next. 

Our goal is widespread adoption of our metrics and tools, helping governments, businesses and communities “move the dial” and achieve the vision above. “Moving-the-dial” means people, in government, business or communities, doing a little bit more a little sooner to help solve global challenges.

While many of our data products are available for free, in some cases we aim to spin-off social enterprises. By monetising select data products, we can ensure these products are maintained, while also generating income for the Tiaki Institute – enhance our capacity for more research and development.
